Alex Hassell…
is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, & engineer based in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Music and a concentration in Jazz Guitar. Over the past few years, he has deeply immersed himself in the realm of live music as well as music production and sound design. His production credit list includes, but is not limited to, work with the following artists:
Sebastian Mikael, James Tillman, Flwr Chyld, MIA GLADSTONE, Elujay, Grimm Lynn, Davido, Mannywellz, Emmavie, Ego Ella May, Demae, Bobby Sessions, Toyé, India Shawn, Baby Rose and Kadhja Bonet.
Production he has worked on has also been synced for television shows such as Cherish The Day on The Oprah Winfrey Network and Harlem on Amazon Prime. He has had the opportunity to perform live at various venues in cities such as Atlanta, Houston, Stanford, New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and more. His talents expand across a wide array of genres and musical categories and he uses his depth of knowledge, especially in vintage and analog gear, to expand and experiment with the sound he creates. In addition to his work as a producer, he is also an artist in his own right, having released a series of projects and singles under his own name.
